How to Manage Zakat Contribution

This guide explains how to set up and manage Zakat contributions for employees in HReasily, covering configuration, payroll tracking, and reporting through Form E/EA. 


 

Configuring Zakat Settings for an Employee

1. Go to Staff Directory on the left sidebar.


 2. Find the employee you want to update, select Payroll Info from the dropdown, and click GO.


3. In the Employee Payroll Info section, click EDIT.


4. Scroll down to the Zakat section.


5. Tick “Does this employee contribute to Zakat?” to enable contributions.


6. Choose the Zakat rate type: Percentage or Fixed Amount.


7. Enter the Zakat amount in the field provided.


8. Click SAVE to apply changes.

 

 

 

 

Managing Zakat Contribution in Payroll 

1. Go to Dashboard on the left sidebar.


2. Navigate to the Payroll tab and click Manage for the payroll you’re running.


3. In the payroll table, scroll to the right to view the Zakat column, which shows each employee’s contribution amount.

 


 

Managing Zakat on Staff Payroll Info

1. Go to Staff Directory on the left sidebar.


2. Find the employee you want to update, select Payroll Info from the dropdown, and click GO.


3. Click EDIT in the Employee Payroll Info section.


4. Scroll down to Tax Details: Employee Deduction Info (in MYR) to view the accumulated Zakat in the Zakat field.


Note: Payroll(s) must be approved for employees who contribute to Zakat to see accurate accumulated amounts.

 


 

Generating Zakat under E and EA Form 

1. Go to Manage Company > Payroll



2. Scroll to the Year End Tax section and expand it.


3. Select Form E and/or Form EA, then click Generate PDF File.


4. Scroll down to find the Accumulated Zakat in the generated forms.
