New features & statutory updates
Two additions covering Thailand statutory reporting and Malaysian PCB residency options.
EWF SKL.3 and SKL.3/1 Excel generation
Added a “Generate Excel New” option for the SKL.3 and SKL.3/1 forms, with a Submission Date field on the EWF Forms page. The file uses the Thai-language template and fills in the end date and reason for leaving for resigned employees.
Supports faster Employee Welfare Fund reporting and reduces the manual preparation required for submissions.
Type of Resident for Malaysian PR and Foreigner employees
Type of Resident is now available for employees with a Malaysian PR or Foreigner residency status, with options including Knowledge Worker (IRDA), Returning Expert Program, Non-Resident and Normal. PCB is calculated using the type selected. Knowledge Worker (ISKANDAR) is now labelled Knowledge Worker (IRDA).
Supports accurate PCB treatment for qualifying employees. Review the setting for your Malaysian PR and Foreigner employees before the next payroll run.

Feature & usability enhancements
Two improvements to payslip OTP downloads and the QuickBooks disconnect flow.
One-time passwords sent only when requested
The payslip OTP is now sent only after the employee selects “Get OTP Code”. Opening a link that has already been used returns the employee to the OTP request page instead of a blank page.
Avoids one-time codes being sent before the employee asks for one and makes payslip downloads easier to complete.
Smoother QuickBooks disconnect
Disconnecting from the QuickBooks app center now signs you in automatically and returns you to the Partner Integration page, or to sign-up if no matching HReasily account exists.
Makes disconnecting and reconnecting QuickBooks simpler, with no unexpected login screen.

Bug fixes & system improvements
Eight fixes covering Thailand payroll and statutory documents, Hong Kong tax forms, bulk pay items, employee profiles and leave approvals.
Unpaid leave in the SSF text file
Fixed an issue where the SSF text file did not deduct unpaid (No-Pay) leave from wages when the unpaid-leave pay item is not set as subject to SSF.
Ensures the wages in the SSF text file reflect unpaid leave. If you submitted a file for a period that included unpaid leave, regenerate it and compare it with your submission.
Payslip recalculation after staff payroll setting changes
Fixed an issue where payslips did not recalculate automatically after an employee’s payroll settings or designation start date were updated.
Keeps payslip tax figures in step with the latest settings. For payrolls created before this update, trigger a recalculation and review the figures before approving or filing.
Withholding tax certificate layout
Corrected the address order so the door number appears before the room number, and adjusted the layout so long authorised-person names fit within the signature field.
Produces cleaner, correctly formatted yearly withholding tax certificates.
IR56F and IR56G alignment
The Employer’s File No. and Hong Kong Identity Card Number are now right-aligned within their boxes on the IR56F and IR56G forms.
Improves the presentation of Hong Kong tax forms so entries sit correctly in their designated boxes.
Bulk pay item uploads no longer stall payroll
Fixed an issue where a failed bulk pay item upload could leave the payroll stuck on “Update pay items are still in progress”.
Keeps payroll processing moving after a failed upload. If a payroll is still showing this message, contact HReasily Support.
Cloned employee profiles across countries
Resolved an internal server error that could appear when opening an employee profile cloned from a branch in another country.
Allows cloned employee profiles to be opened and managed normally across country branches.
Employee Payroll Info edit window
Fixed an issue where section headings and the payslip password show/hide icon stopped responding after the edit window was reopened.
Makes editing employee payroll information consistent every time the window is opened.
Leave approver and recommender list paging
Fixed an issue where moving to page 2 or later in the Leave Approver and Leave Recommender lists (Assign to Multiple Employees) redirected to the wrong page.
Allows approvers and recommenders to be assigned across multiple pages without being taken away from the list.
