How to Enable the Automated Leave Feature

Modified on Tue, 19 Aug at 3:29 PM

The Automated Leave feature in HReasily simplifies leave management by automatically assigning leave types and entitlements to employees based on child information and eligibility criteria. Follow the steps below to enable and set it up for your company.

1. Reach out to our Support Team and provide the URL of the company for which you want to enable Automated Leave.

2. Once enabled, here's how it looks like in Manage Company menu. You will see the new automated leave type in the list indicated with the :information_source: icon.

Note: Click on the :information_source: icon to access the FAQ explaining how each automated leave type works.

3. Next, go to Staff Directory and open Staff Basic Info. Enter child data including Date of Birth and Nationality.

⚠️ Important: Automated Leave entitlements rely on accurate child information.

4. Next, ensure that staff joined date has been indicated correctly.

Note: Automated Leave will only be assigned to employees who have worked at least 3 months.

5. Go to Staff Leave page and scroll down to Leave Types. Automated Leave will be assigned automatically based on the child’s age.

6. To update leave entitlements for a staff member, click ACTIONSUPDATE.

7. Click SAVE to confirm changes.

Important Notes

  • Automated Leave is updated automatically as the child’s age changes. Example: When the youngest child turns 7 years old, HReasily assigns Extended Childcare Leave instead of Childcare Leave.

  • Ensure child Date of Birth and Nationality are correct to guarantee accurate leave assignment.

  • For existing staff with child information already entered, resave the Next of Kin info to trigger leave assignment.

  • Automated Leave types (Childcare Leave and Extended Childcare Leave) cannot be deleted. To disable the feature, contact the Support Team.
