[Thailand] Payroll & Compliance: How to Configure Employee Welfare Fund (EWF) Contributions (Classic)

The Employee Welfare Fund (EWF) contribution can be configured for individual employees in the payroll system. Follow the steps below to enable or update an employee's EWF contribution details.


Configure for an Individual Employee


1. Navigate to Staff Directory > Select the employee > Select Payroll Into > Click Go


2. Under Employee Payroll Info, click Edit. 


3. Scroll down to Employee Welfare Fund Details section and check the box for Employee Welfare Fund Conditions


4. Complete the EWF details:

  • Employee Welfare Fund ID: Enter the employee's EWF membership ID.

  • Employee Welfare Fund Branch: Select the applicable EWF branch. 

  • Employee Welfare Beneficiaries: Enter the required beneficiary information.

Note: Click Add more if you have multiple beneficiaries.



5. Review the information and click Save at the bottom of the page to apply the changes.


Tip: Double-check that the employee's other Salary Contribution details are up to date before saving to prevent any payroll calculation discrepancies.
